1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit our website or the Trackbase platform. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels, jointly referred to as 'cookies' in this policy.
2. Who places these cookies
Our marketing website (www.trackbase.ai) is built on and hosted via Framer. We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage the measurement and advertising scripts described below; GTM itself does not place cookies but loads the tags of the parties named below. Cookies are placed by Clarius AI B.V. itself, by Framer as our hosting provider (functional cookies), and by carefully selected third parties such as Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads), Microsoft (Clarity), Meta (Facebook/Instagram Ads), TikTok (TikTok Ads) and LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ads) for analytics and advertising purposes, as described below.
3. Which cookies we use
We distinguish the following categories of cookies:
Functional/necessary cookies: required to make the website and platform work, for example to keep you logged in. These cookies do not require consent.
Analytics cookies: we use Google Analytics (GA4), Microsoft Clarity and PostHog to understand how visitors and users use our website and the platform (including anonymised heatmaps, session recordings and feature usage), so we can improve the website and our services. Where possible, we configure these tools in a privacy-friendly way (including IP masking).
Marketing cookies: we run advertising campaigns via Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok Ads and LinkedIn Ads. These cookies measure conversions (for example, a sign-up after clicking an ad) and enable retargeting, whereby visitors to our website may see relevant Trackbase ads elsewhere. These cookies are only placed with your consent.
An overview of the main cookies we use is provided in the table below.

4. Consent and cookie management
On your first visit to our website, we display a cookie banner where you can indicate which categories of cookies you allow, except for functional/necessary cookies, which are always active.
You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of our website, or by removing or blocking cookies through your browser settings. Please note that blocking certain cookies may limit the functioning of the platform.
You can also manage ad personalisation separately via Google's ad settings (adssettings.google.com) and Meta's ad preferences (facebook.com/ads/preferences).
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are placed by third parties that perform services on our behalf:
Framer (framer.com): builder and hosting provider of our marketing website, places functional cookies required to correctly load and secure the website.
Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads, google.com/policies/privacy): Tag Manager manages our measurement and advertising scripts; Analytics and Ads collect website statistics and measure advertising conversions and retargeting.
Microsoft (Clarity, privacy.microsoft.com): creates anonymised heatmaps and session recordings to help improve the website.
PostHog (posthog.com, EU Cloud): product analytics tool that measures usage of our website and the platform for product improvement purposes; data is hosted within the EU.
Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram Ads, facebook.com/privacy/policy): measures advertising conversions and enables retargeting and audience-based advertising.
TikTok (TikTok Ads, tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy): measures advertising conversions and enables retargeting for our TikTok campaigns.
LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ads / Insight Tag, linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy): measures advertising conversions and enables retargeting to business audiences.
These parties may also collect and process (personal) data themselves in accordance with their own privacy policies, and may act as (joint) controllers in doing so. We recommend reviewing these third parties' privacy policies for further information.
6. Retention periods
The retention period for each cookie is listed in the table in Article 3. Once the retention period expires, the cookie is automatically deleted by your browser, or placed again on a subsequent visit where you have given consent.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we introduce new cookies or technologies. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
